Motor Insurance
1. Third-Party Motor Insurance
This is mandatory by law and covers injury, death, or property damage caused to a third party due to your vehicle. It does not cover damage to your own vehicle.
2. Comprehensive Motor Insurance
This provides wider protection by covering third-party liabilities as well as damage to your own vehicle due to accidents, theft, fire, natural calamities, and man-made disasters.
3. Standalone Own Damage Insurance
This covers only damages to your own vehicle and is purchased separately when you already have a third-party insurance policy.
4. Personal Accident Cover
This provides financial compensation in case of death or permanent disability of the vehicle owner/driver due to an accident.
